Jr. Jumpers Season 2 Recap

04/22/26 - 05/27/26

Season 2 was another exciting step forward for Jr. Jumpers. Our young athletes continued building their basketball skills through dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, teamwork, and fun game-like drills. Each week, we saw the kids become more confident with the ball, more comfortable on the court, and better at understanding how to play together as a team. It was great watching their energy, effort, and love for the game grow throughout the season.

What We Worked On

Dribbling

Ball control, staying low, and keeping eyes up.

Shooting

Proper form, balance, and confidence.

Passing

Chest passes, bounce passes, and sharing the ball.

Awareness

Learning spacing, teamwork, defense, and game flow.

Season Highlights

Season 2 was full of energy, improvement, and great moments on the court. Each week, the kids became more comfortable with the ball, more confident around their teammates, and more excited to compete and learn. From skill stations and fun drills to scrimmage-style play, it was awesome seeing how much progress they made from the first practice to the final session.

Throughout the season, our players continued working hard on the fundamentals while also learning how to enjoy the game the right way. We focused on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, teamwork, spacing, and listening to coaches. Most importantly, the kids had fun, built confidence, and started understanding what it means to play together as a team.

Amina was our Season 2 Jr. Jumpers MVP, and she earned it with her effort, attitude, and growth throughout the season. Every week, she came ready to listen, learn, and give her best on the court.

One of the best parts of watching Amina this season was seeing her confidence continue to grow. She worked hard during drills, stayed focused with her coaches, and showed real improvement in her ball handling, shooting, teamwork, and understanding of the game.

Amina brought great energy to every session and was always willing to try, compete, and keep getting better. She showed what Jr. Jumpers is all about: having fun, learning the game, being a great teammate, and building confidence through basketball.

We are so proud of the progress Amina made this season and the positive attitude she brought each week.

Keep up the great work, Amina!
