Jr. Jumpers Season 1 Recap
March 4 – April 8, 2026
Season 1 was an amazing start for Jr. Jumpers. Our young athletes worked on dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork, and learning the rhythm of the game in a fun and positive environment. We loved watching the kids grow more confident each week and start understanding how to play together.
What We Worked On
Dribbling
Ball control, staying low, and keeping eyes up.
Shooting
Proper form, balance, and confidence.
Passing
Chest passes, bounce passes, and sharing the ball.
Awareness
Learning spacing, teamwork, defense, and game flow.
Season Highlights
Season 1 was full of energy, learning, and growth. Each week, the kids became more comfortable with the ball, more confident with their teammates, and more excited to play. From basic drills to scrimmage-style play, we loved seeing the progress from the first practice to the final session.

Season 1 gave us a great first look at what Jr. Jumpers is all about. The kids showed up ready to learn, improved week by week, and brought great energy to every session. We are proud of the effort they gave and excited to continue building on this foundation in future seasons.

Throughout the season, our players worked hard on the fundamentals while also learning how to enjoy the game. We focused on dribbling, passing, shooting, teamwork, and listening to coaches. Most importantly, the kids had fun, built confidence, and started understanding what it feels like to be part of a team.

Season 1 MVP: Terrell

Season 1 MVP: Terrell Smith Jr.
Terrell was our Season 1 Jr. Jumpers MVP, and he earned it from the very first day. Even though he had never played basketball before, the moment he picked up the ball, he looked like a natural. His confidence, energy, and feel for the game stood out right away.
One of our favorite moments from Season 1 was realizing we had to raise the hoop because of Terrell. He came in new to basketball, but you would never know it by the way he moved, shot, and attacked every drill. Some kids learn the game — Terrell looked like he was born to play it.
Terrell brought great effort, focus, and excitement to every session. He listened, competed, and kept improving week after week. Watching him discover the game and play with natural confidence was one of the highlights of our first Jr. Jumpers season.
Keep up the great work Terrell!
